Audo Copenhagen furniture and decoration
Audo's interior furniture and accessories are shaped by intentional details, high-quality materials and human needs.
Bridging the gap between heritage and contemporary design, Audo's designs are catalysts for community creativity and innovation.
A masterpiece by design duo Tove and Edvard Kindt-Larsen, the Pagode sofa is unknown to most.
Avant-garde and artistic for its time, its low, almost flat armrests and V-shaped legs make it light and precise in its design language – and give the sofa a contemporary look. With its name inspired by Asian architecture, it is expressive and unique in its simplicity – just like the temples it references. First presented to the world in 1956, it remains a remarkable piece of design.
An exclusive and rare design by Vilhelm Lauritzen, the Radiohus sofa was designed for the Danish Radio House – now the Royal Danish Academy of Music – in 1936. A pioneering piece of Nordic functionalism, this elegant design eschewed the conservative straight lines of the time in favour of a more futuristic expression. Appreciable from every angle, its curved lines and open construction welcome and embrace the user, while the padded back emphasises the precision of its design.
Offset is the result of a research into balance carried out by Norm Architects.
The studio aimed to create a sofa that was as simple as possible, embracing a set of paradoxes: making it substantial yet delicate in appearance, architectural yet inviting and welcoming.
Tearoom Sofa
Timeless in its expression and execution, the Tearoom collection is suitable for both period and contemporary environments.
Radiating an elegant yet rigorous femininity, the enveloping shapes, although seductive, are not too casual.
As such, the furniture maintains a clear visual link to the sculptural 1904 Willow chair that originally sparked the designer’s imagination.
An elegant and sumptuous three-seater sofa designed by Flemming Lassen in 1935, Vilhelm invites you to relax with its softly rounded shape and padded upholstery. The backrest and armrests offer privacy and are skilfully detailed with buttons. Strong in terms of craftsmanship and presence, it welcomes life with its functional form.
Eave Modular Sofa, 96, 3.5-Seater
Inspired by architecture, the Eave modular sofa gets its name from the eaves - the lower corners of a roof that overlap a wall.
The sofa's distinctive detail is the internal edges - curved upholstered armrests that give the sofa its expressive character.
Ideal for larger spaces, an open end module, a chaise longue module and an open section come together to provide the perfect dimensions and level of comfort for relaxing.
Originally developed by Norwegian architect and designer Danielle Siggerud as a modern and versatile table for the former café at the Audo showroom, the Androgyne Collection features clean silhouettes and refined materials. Celebrating craftsmanship and wood, the Androgyne Lounge Table comes in a natural or dark oak or walnut finish, as well as a choice of a Kunis Breccia stone or Calacatta Viola marble top. With a form and function designed for everyday use, the versatile, modernist design can be used as a lounge table or as a bench for stacks of books or statement decorations.
The Snaregade collection offers a range of versatile tables to suit any environment and occasion. The Snaregade Conference Table features a large rectangular design in a range of stylish materials, designed with workspaces in mind – whether at home or in the office. Featuring a central fixing hole with a matching cover and cable holder, it ensures the surface remains free from clutter from electrical plugs and wires.
Designed by Arthur Umanoff during the 1950s, this side table is a stackable, space-saving option when room size is limited – and a true piece of mid-century modern design. Colourful laminate panels in geometric shapes add a decorative and practical note to the sleek, solid walnut design. Equal parts traditional and unconventional, the three tables enhance a space whether placed together or used individually.
The Umanoff side table balances walnut and brass on its rounded top. The tripod-inspired structure creates a table that defies convention.
Despite its decidedly small footprint, it makes a big impact as a mid-century modern design object for stacks of books, coffee mugs or flower vases.
The NoNo table is characterised by its lightness. The elegant, slender legs provide complete support for the solid glass tabletop, which reflects its surroundings. Modern materials enhance the clean, elegant aesthetic. And the simple yet appealing design makes the NoNo a great addition to any living area.
German designer Theresa Rand was experimenting with ways to combine a table with storage when she came across the idea of a lid that opens by rotating it around one of its legs. The result is elegant, unpretentious and utterly addictive.
With its simple and elegant design, the Co rectangular desk perfectly complements the Co-Chair collection, creating a cohesive look in professional environments. Offering long-lasting performance, style and functionality in two sizes and material colour options to suit different space requirements, tastes and objectives in a range of modern workspaces, its distinctive design details include decorative screws, solid oak finish and chrome legs.
The Eclipse desk is a celebration of materials and form. Named for its concave and convex shape that resembles the passage of illuminated celestial bodies across the sky, Fred Rigby’s design has a distinctive, asymmetrical silhouette that invites touch.
Building on the simple, lightweight and versatile design of the Harbour Chair, Norm Architects is expanding the Harbour family with the elegant Harbour Column Table. Featuring a simple top paired with a subtle yet sophisticated trefoil-shaped column profile – the same as you’ll see on the new swivel version of the Harbour Chair. This combination gives the modern design a classic and exclusive touch.
Zet Storage System
A way to put objects in the spotlight, Zet is a modular shelving system that offers freedom and functionality.
Easily assembled or disassembled and moved whenever you wish, its delicate balance between order, convenience and style is shaped from materials selected for their beauty and resistance. Based on just two components - U-shaped wooden shelves and a metal frame defined by diagonal Z-bars - it is available in six colours and with optional display shelves and back panels.
Designed for Audo by Nina Bruun, the Epoch shelf is made from wood veneer and is available in two natural finishes: natural oak or dark oak.
The versatile and compact design features, on one side, a deep shelf for everyday clutter and, on the other, a shelf for placing decorative objects.
The Rail bookcase, created for Audo by Japanese designer Keiji Ashizawa, is inspired by the world of architecture and the way we use space.
The wall-mounted design features a lightweight steel support, inspired by metal railings, and a tactile wooden shelf, available in natural or dark oak. Elegantly minimalist, the Rail Shelf fits seamlessly into spaces to provide an understated backdrop for your favourite objects.
The modernist Corbel shelf is a wall-hung podium that combines contrasting materials to achieve a striking effect.
The invention of design studio Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen, the versatile design in marble, dark oak and coated steel takes its name and design cues from architectural supports traditionally made of stone or wood.
The minimalist profile of the Plinth shelf is shaped from honed marble and stone, which exudes an air of sophistication and elegance to elevate any space.
Equally stylish and useful, the 60cm long shelf can be attached horizontally to a wall to be used as a display or bookcase, or vertically as a wall-mounted podium to display a favourite object.
Beautiful shelves inspired by one of nature's most extravagant features; the shelf fungus that grows horizontally on forest trees.
Use the Fungi shelves next to the bed, as a decorative element in the living room, to display colorful spices in the kitchen or perhaps as an extra shelf for ambient light in the children's room.
