The Romb table lamp is an artistic and clever piece of design. Inspired by two corrugated cardboard shapes stacked on top of each other, Romb has an intriguing geometric appearance. Its compressed shape and wavy surface enhance the impression of lightness of the cardboard, playing tricks on the perception of the lamp. Design by Broberg & Ridderstråle
Broberg & Ridderstråle is a design studio based in Stockholm, Sweden, founded by creative collaborators Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle. They work in a mixed practice of architecture and design and strive to always add an emotional value to their projects that communicates with users through the recognition of symbols and meanings. They often draw inspiration from everyday life and try to combine a rational approach with a bit of humour and the clash between past and present.
